God tests our faith when He reveals to us His will, and then puts us in a situation that exactly contradicts it.(Psalm 105:19)
This difference tests whether our loyalty is to Him or to our desire. The test is like a oven which bakes within us character.
When character comes, it manifests itself in our words and actions. (James 1:2-4, 12)
What we actually believe and to whom we actually believe (God or circumstances) comes out in our words and actions when the heat comes.
